BILOXI 2009:  Our congregation is planning a work/mission trip to the Biloxi, Mississippi area (with a small project in Pensacola, Florida preceding the work).  The dates for this fall trip are October 23-31.  Talk to Bob Wiederholtz (815/541-5896 or 235-1895) if you are considering joining the crew.  The cost would be about $300.  The congregation is planning a special pre-trip offering this fall and we are organizing daily prayer support for our “away” team.  Our next planning meeting is Monday, July 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Work at the Stephenson Co. Fair:  Volunteers are needed to work at the Beef Corral on Thursday, July 16th from 6:30—11:00 pm and the Butterfly Pork Chop Booth on Friday, July 17 all day at various times. Volunteers receive a free pass into the fair, plus a meal from that vendor.  Immanuel makes about $500 from each place from the profits.  Plus, the local agricultural organizations benefit.
